So, can I pay someone who doesn't have Verse installed in their phone?

You can, but one very important condition must be met first: the recipient of your payment must download the app and successfully verify their account.

You can make this payment from the "Pay" option, by clicking on the blue circle in the lower right corner. Then enter the phone number of the recipient of your payment in the search engine above, or select it from the address book if you have shared it. To finish, enter the amount you would like to pay and the payment memo ✌🏻.

💡 The person to whom you have sent the money will receive an SMS notification on their phone, in which the amount you have sent will be indicated. You can receive this amount only if you download the app. And if the app is never downloaded... they lose it and your money will return to your account within 24 hours. 

In the worst case, remember that at Verse we offer you the possibility of making instant transfers to users who are not registered in the application. If you need to transfer money urgently to people who are not users of the application, you can always make an immediate transfer 🤗, as long as you have the account data (destination account IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code, name and surname of the recipient).
