Why do I have to verify my purchases?

Verse is subject to the regulation known as PSD2, which requires institutions that issue payment instruments (for example, Verse as issuer of the VerseCard), in most cases, to require a second verification factor from its users when making purchases online using their debit cards. For this reason, when you make an online purchase using your VerseCard we will send you a push notification to your mobile so that you can enter the app and confirm your purchase. Remember that after the purchase has been confirmed, you will have to return to the store where you were making the transaction in order to complete it.

💡 It is important that you have Verse notifications active on your mobile in order to complete online purchases with your VerseCard.
