I sent money from my Verse account to the incorrect (or closed) bank account. Can I cancel the transfer?

We understand that sometimes mistakes can happen, but although we would love to cancel a transfer sent by error, we simply don't have the power to do so. In case you send it to a closed account, don't worry, as the bank will not be able to accept it, it will be returned to Verse within 48 hours to 30 working days.


  • Send money only to people you know.
  • Verify that the recipient's bank account is the correct one.

The best advice we can give you is to always double-check the details of any transfer you make and to take your time. This way, you will be 100% sure that you have sent the money to the right account 😊.
