I sent money from my Verse account to the incorrect (or closed) bank account. Can I cancel the transfer?

⚠️ No, unfortunately you can't.

Transfers to other banks are irreversible and cannot be canceled once made, unless the destination bank rejects the transfer, in which case the funds will be automatically returned to your Verse account and credited to your Verse account within a period that can vary between 48 hours from the date of transfer to 30 business days.

As a preventive measure, our system detects in advance if there are any errors in the recipient's account data (for example, if the recipient's IBAN number is incorrect).
